Monarch Martial Arts Academy Campaign Book

Results: Increased social media presence, held two successful events and garnered a variety of local news coverage. The ‘Fight For Jenny’ event had over 20 sponsors, and raised over $500.

Global Entrepreneurship Week Campaign Book

Results: Increased total attendees to 5,000+, hosting over 70 events and introducing a wide variety of new promotional ideas for future use.

Results: Increased social media presence at over 100% and compiled media and email pitches for future use.

Simple Car Wash Campaign Book

Results: Created a press kit, implemented a coupon special, increased social media presence, pitched to various media outlets, and updated Simple Car Wash’s graphics.

Tag Campaign Book

Results: Created a social and digital strategy plan to optimize Tag’s exposure to a local and national audience. Proposed future campaign and event ideas to increase Tag’s brand awareness on college campuses. Compiled local and national media lists and created Tag Hunt PSU, an interactive scavenger hunt to be used in the future.

One Heart Campaign Book

Results: Implemented and created a social media campaign and newsworthy stories about One Heart to pitch to local media. Assisted in the creation of the One Heart promotional video to be displayed at the annual Blue Out game.

Results: Implemented strategic social media, marketing and PR campaigns in order to promote a handful of clients. One of the largest clients, College Town Film Festival, saw tremendous growth in their attendees. The consulting branch was highly successful in serving smaller clients with immediate needed assistance.

Learning Factory Campaign Book

Results: Assembled success stories and promotional videos that the Learning Factory will use as promotional material on their website. The team conducted a social media competition to engage the audience in attendance of a Learning Factory event. Overall, a more interactive atmosphere was developed for the Learning Factory and the College of Engineering Design Showcase.

Vamos! Lion Chariot Campaign Book

Results: The client saw an increase in media coverage, including a feature story by Valley Magazine about Vamos! Lion Chariot’s Valentine’s Day date rides. Created a crisis communications plan in case of an accident, theft or serious emergencies. All objectives were met and exceeded by the end of the semester.

SleepPhones Campaign Book

Results: Several blog submissions were published on the AcousticSheep website. Market research was conducted in order to better understand the healthy sleeping habits of consumers. The team created social media content as well as sleep playlists on Spotify to be utilized by SleepPhones.

Ad Council Campaign Book

Results: An established ambassador program made up of seven highly dedicated students. The team coordinated, promoted and participated in the first ever Ad Council on-campus event. We observed an increase in social media activity, a total of 250 participants and local media coverage.

SBDC/NCG Campaign Book

Results: Increase traffic and promote awareness to both the Small Business Development Center and Nittany Consulting Group. Following a successful event that featured Daymond John, NCG consultants reported that there was an increase in foot traffic to their office hours and a noticeably higher interest by the student body.

Ad Council Campaign Book

Results: A structure for a campus ambassador program was planned to encourage 20 to 30 college of communications students at Big 10 schools to draw awareness to the Ad Council’s public service campaigns.

Dogger’s Garage Band Campaign Book

Results: Spreading the word about author Richard Frank’s first children’s book was the goal for this client. The team connected with the State College community and key media outlets in addition to planned future events and provided a social media proposal for Pinterest.

Blue I.V. Campaign Book

Results: A remodeling and rebranding plan was pitched to the client, who is aiming to secure the Penn State freshmen population as loyal customers throughout their college careers.

Webster’s Bookstore Cafè Campaign Book

Results: More than 75 attendees came to Webster’s one-year anniversary community event. HVC increased awareness of the business through media placements and non-traiditon promotions.

Flashback Forward Campaign Book

Results: Created content for electronic press kit to increase band’s exposure to record labels.

Blue I.V. Campaign Book

Results: Planned and executed a First Day of Spring store event, which increased sales revenue and brand awareness among the female student population.

Global Entrepreneurship Week 2012 Campaign Book
Results: Increased event attendees by more than 300 students. HVC increased awareness of the event and global initiative via increases in social media followers and press hits.

Special Olympics Beaver Stadium Run 5K Campaign Book
Results: More than 3,000 registered participants and roughly $300,000 was raised. This was the largest fundraising events in Special Olympics PA history.

Summer Session at Penn State Campaign Book
Results: 150 people attended the first Summer Session at Penn State fair. HVC developed overall brand identity as well as create storyboards for future promotional videos.

Contempo Artisan Boutique Campaign Book
Results: Development of brand identity and increased attendance at unique store events. An average of 7,500 weekly media impressions via social media recorded.

Jezebel’s Boutique Campaign Book
Results: Creation of unique student-friendly events to re-brand client. Consultation of storefront displays and current web platform.

Penn State College of Communications Campaign Book
Results: Created new logo, created promotional videos and attracted more than 100 students to sign the honor code for the Don Davis Program in Ethical Leadership.

Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences Campaign Book
Results: 153 students and faculty attended the Earl & Kay Harbaugh Forum and Ag60 Competition. HVC designed and created several identity pieces for the college to use in the future.
