Sara Salter is a senior majoring in public relations with minors in digital media trends and analytics as well as environmental inquiry. She began with HVC in the spring of 2017 and previously worked as an account associate on a Penn State startup, Phospholutions, where she loved working so closely with the client. She is so excited to be the director of consulting for the 2017-2018 school year and looking forward to all of the good things that this year will bring in HVC.
Additionally, Sara is heavily involved in the Lawrence G. Foster chapter of PRSSA. She joined fall of 2016 and quickly became co-chair of the communications and digital strategy committee that spring. She is honored to take the role of director of membership in the 2017-2018 academic year. This past summer, she interned at Stream Companies, an integrated advertising agency, as their social media intern. She also interned at the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor as a marketing and development intern. She is excited to utilize what she has learned to benefit HVC.
Sara hails from the suburbs of Allentown, Pennsylvania where she has enjoyed lush greenery and a close connection to nature. She is highly interested in environmental conservation which transcends into her desire to someday work in “green” PR. She is also hopelessly addicted to traveling, having been everywhere from Costa Rica to Japan – she wants to travel just about everywhere one day.
